What I liked
I was drawn in from the beginning. Great use of space and narrative devices, tying stories together by rooting us back to your drive through Texas and conversations with your therapist. This show featured really great writing and storytelling, shared generously!
What I didn't like
Keep going! Always room for more jokes per minute, or finding space to drop into deeper vulnerability. Regardless, this is already a great show!
My overall impression
Olivia Atwood gives us a fabulous hour of comedy in her new special, Animal Instincts. Awesome to see she’s been joining us from NY at the Hollywood Fringe for now three seasons. This show was high energy, high comedy, thoroughly engaging and enjoyable. A very polished piece.
