What I liked
I loved the format of a yoga class – even though I didn’t participate, it was always fun to watch people doing yoga as Ruby monologued. And the twist ending – Jesus Christ, it went in a direction I was not at all expecting and I LOVED it. Simple plot and execution, but done so, so well.
What I didn't like
Honestly I have no notes. I could tell this had been run and perfected a lot before – my only thought was the yoga was lowkey kind of difficult? I personally would have struggled had I been up there LOL, but honestly the people who were participating killed it!
My overall impression
Creative, engaging 100% of the time, and not at all what I was expecting! Ruby’s writing and performance was equally entertaining, funny, and terrifying. It’s so hard to execute a good, concise one-woman show, and she killed it. A thoroughly enjoyable hour, wish I could watch it for the first time again, seriously cannot recommend this enough.
