My favorite part of HOTYOGA was how vulnerable and raw Ruby’s performance was. Not a line of dialogue was without reason; not a single movement was without consequence.

My overall impression
I have had the pleasure of seeing Hot Yoga twice now: once as an audience member and once as a class participant. Both experiences were extraordinary.
HOTYOGA is both a personal examination of self and society & a hilarious, heightened character piece. At its core, it is a cathartic, meditative exercise (literally) that forces the audience to confront what it means to perceive and be perceived. I laughed, I stretched, I grew a pit in my stomach that moved up to my throat, and then I laughed again.
HOTYOGA is a masterclass in tone, and I cannot wait to see what Ruby creates next.
