What I liked
The cast really shines. The all have amazing chemistry and work incredibly well together. The timing/pacing is another highlight for me; these actors know the show and their characters inside and out!
What I didn't like
My only note is that a big moment happens at the entrance of the theatre (which is a great use of the space), but it’s difficult for most of the audience to see. I would have loved to have a better view!
My overall impression
The cast all have a wonderful time with this dark comedy, and they take us along with them. I really loved the use of puppets, magic and props; they added campy, fun element to the show that elevated the experience. I don’t want to give much away about the plot, but you can tell the whole team handled the script and the story with appreciation and care.
