Begging for Love

What I liked

Every beat, whether dramatic or comedic, hit as intended; which is difficult to pull off with such sensitive and personal subject matter. Christine was able to shift impressively fast between the different facets of her personality and experience. The physical comedy, Alexa scene, and the final song were particular highlights for me.

What I didn't like

The audience interaction in the speed dating bit was fun and a good showcase of Christine’s improv skills, but it felt like part of a different show. It’s also my own personal issue that audience participation makes me anxious.

My overall impression

Christine shows a wonderful range of both skill and emotion, drawing the audience into an equally hilarious and heartbreaking journey.
