There are a lot of solo shows out there about the performers’ romantic trials and tribulations. Christine’s version is about her romantic woes, yet not at all. It’s about so much more than external validation, and I admired that she dug deeper into the nonlinear rollercoaster of self-acceptance. Unlike other solo shows, which can superficially lily pad between stories of breakups, this show felt deeply personal. Christine’s physical comedy, beautiful singing, and guitar-playing added an original touch to what is often otherwise well-tread storytelling.
What I didn't like
I honestly can’t think of anything!
My overall impression
Great solo show. Beautifully written, directed, and acted.
