What I liked
The staging and and set pieces worked well…I loved the depression blanket and the big “O” was hilariously shared!
What I didn't like
In the vignette style of storytelling there can sometimes be a few more connecting transitions to help the overall flow to become a smoother journey. No specific ideas; as they can often be non-verbal moments, not just additional lines or bits.
Maybe this is more a directing note than a performance or writing note.😁
My overall impression
I loved the journey! Christine is never short of luminous, and her songs are great. The show has a very high set of highs while the lows are heartfelt and I found myself right there with her.
