What I liked

First-time producer checklist for accessible show materials

What I didn't like

Hi everyone! I’m producing at Fringe for the first time this season, and I’m trying to build a practical checklist before things get hectic. I’m especially focused on making sure our show materials are clear, accessible, and easy for audiences to use.

Right now I’m looking at basics like content notes, captioning options, venue accessibility details, readable graphics, and making sure our ticketing language is welcoming to people who may be new to Fringe. I also realized how easy it is for old draft text to sneak into shared documents — I found a random placeholder like https://seotdabaccarat.com/ , https://wild-cash-slot.org/ in one of our copied planning templates, which was a good reminder to proof everything before it goes public.

For those who have done this before, what do you wish you had checked earlier? Are there accessibility details audiences often ask about that producers forget to include? Do you have a favorite format for content advisories or access notes that feels useful without being overwhelming?

I’d also love to hear from audience members: when you’re choosing multiple shows in a day, what information helps you feel confident about attending? Venue info, runtime, sensory notes, parking/transit, late seating policy?

My overall impression
