I love a play without an antagonist. Everyone is just trying to do their best. Shout out to the doctor character. She grounds the play with a terrific empathy and kindness and subtlety. The actress was fantastic.
What I didn't like
There are some transitions/scene progressions in the latter half of the play that were a little unclear logistically, and I found myself doing a little detective work during and after the play. This may also be a symptom of the play’s one hour run time. I don’t mind detective work. I demand you see this play.
My overall impression
A hell of a play. Straight up awesome theater, from beginning to end. Excellently directed, phenomenally acted. Reilly has a clear and vivid voice, which is always immersive, never trite, and at many times moving, verging on profound. He makes no compromises for the audience and presents the story in all of its authenticity straight from the heart.
