What I liked

An immersive experience from the human protestors outside, to checking with an an android at the box office, to a greeting from a distance time in far away space. The costume pieces, set design, and augmented reality are very well designed to draw you into a futuristic ascension ceremony. Stephen Butchko plays the android pastor flawlessly while interacting with an actor that is only seen via your phone’s augmented reality.

What I didn't like

A lot of steps to get the augmented reality to work, but not impossible to accomplish. My phone (iPhone 16 ProMax) started running hot using the AR, so I had to shut it off about half-way through the show. We jump a few times into the past and future and sometimes it is hard to fully track and comprehend.

My overall impression

An ambitious sci-fi conundrum on the merits and consequences of a human’s ascension to a digital realm.
