What I liked

I expected the technology to be fascinating, but I was blown away by the set and costuming! Especially the casket and the Officiant, but truly everything felt very lushly detailed. It was all just a pleasure to look at. And then the writing! Ugh. So good. Pluto has such depth as a character, and I felt such empathy for her sister and the protesters.

What I didn't like

The tech mostly worked, but not 100% of the time, which frankly I felt was a theme of the show so I didn’t mind at all.

My overall impression

This show takes a multimedia and futuristic approach to tackling the weighty themes of death, mortality, climate change, resource allotment, and the possibility of human extinction – and it pulls it off with aplomb.
