Strong acting from the lead, Ulysses Montoya, as the dog Nueve. The messaging of treating living things better is an important one and I appreciated that the playwright is shining a light on social issues. I hope that people see this play and reconsider where they get their pets from.
What I didn't like
The play runs a bit long.
My overall impression
A strong drama with a wonderful message about animal rights. The play serves as a metaphor for not just animal rights, but the human rights that are being taken away by ICE agents.
