What I liked
The story was very creative and engaging. The actors did a wonderful job embodying the dogs, as well as the humans ;-).
What I didn't like
While there were some wonderfully played out moments, a few aspects were a bit on the nose (I think that’s pretty common with Hollywood Fringe because it moves so fast). An expanded version could help the story slow down and find more nuanced ways of conveying the same things.
My overall impression
If you love dogs, this is the show for you! A very sweet and somber show about two dogs in the shelter system from different perspectives, including the dogs’. I learned a lot about the shelter system and the stress that can lead to “bad” dogs. It made me want to volunteer!
