What I liked

The themes that layered regarding oppressive and violent systems in the US and how we learn about animal shelters and how similar the conversations can be intertwined with how poorly we and the government treats black and brown communities of color really stood out to me. A truly unique way to emphasize both systems and how they are failing in the US. I also really loved the acting, all of the actors were amazing!

What I didn't like

I felt this was a really great play. I am also not well versed in the industry or stage culture so I am not sure if I would be the best person to comment on any criticisms or improvements. I thoroughly loved everything about it.

My overall impression

I had a really great time watching this show, and it was my first play! I felt like the story, the writing, the narratives, the layers of themes and meanings that all intertwined with animal shelters and the parallelism with the political climate was brilliant. The sound editing, the lighting, the acting, everything kept me engaged the entire time. Absolutely incredible!
