Pit of Hope

What I liked

I really loved the passion portrayed by the actors and the script itself. The crisis we are facing with animal shelters is devastating and the message was loud and clear.

What I didn't like

The play touched on several heavy topics. Perhaps a nod to fewer issues would help keep the viewer in the experience. I did like how each topic was essentially rooted in the overarching issue.

My overall impression

Pit of Hope was an emotionally charged story with an important message about humanity and the impossible decisions we face as a society daily. It was heartbreaking, intense, maddening and funny all at the same time. Vince did an amazing job writing and directing such a powerful show. The actors were believable and had me in tears with both laughter and sadness. I loved this show!
