What I liked

The chemistry of the cast made it easy to see the depth and gravity of the material, without being weighed down by it.

What I didn't like

Could she just have adopted him rather than poor animal handling leading to escape. SPOILER ALERT!! Ding dong the douche is dead and can’t get in the way.

My overall impression

This show is what you hope for when going to see local theatre. While heart wrenching and thoughtful, it’s not without warmth and levity. This show let’s the audience see contemporary issues, not just within the animal care system but society, at a much more human level.
