I loved the stylistic choices made. The show was actually alot funnier than it gives itself off to be. Having the 4th wall come up every now and then was entertaining, and allowed us to breath through all the drama, and agony of the situation. I loved how after the curtain calls, they gave us an update on the reality of the dogs being depicted.
And as is. The Argentinian Director found a way to put Messi in the show.
What I didn't like
Clarity of the 4th wall breaks. That’s being said with them also successfully working.
My overall impression
I love a metaphoric double entendre. The show is fully about the experience of dogs in the sytem, yet in the same breath it’s also about the family’s and people who get taken away by the system. The show does a great job at making everyone human… All these human beings… (And humans acting as dogs) were just people having their lives suffocated by the system, whether the system has made them who they are today, or who they are sadly becoming.
