There is so much humor and heart; you can truly see into the writer’s soul with the words and the stories he created with his characters. Also the topic is not only timely, but Los Angeles-centric.
What I didn't like
Some of the actors had issues projecting their voices to the theater.
My overall impression
“Pit of Hope” is a powerful show, tackling difficult topics in a unique way. It is a thoughtful piece that is not only current, but also incredibly human; a true feat, given that two of its characters are dogs.
