Vince Tula's brilliant imagination brings to life the devastating impact of an ICE raid through the eyes of a beloved pit bull. It's a unique, heartbreaking, and deeply moving story.
Absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking and yet leaves you with hope. Definitely a highlight for me at the Fringe. ...

This one is for all the dog lovers! Pit of Hope highlights those who are doing their part to bring awareness to the animal shelter crisis as well as the humanitarian crisis caused by ICE. A political show that reflects the divided society we live in and the consequences that it brings. It definitely made me sad, but there were some beautiful moments in there as well. A solid first work for this new-to-fringe writer!!...

Such a timely and important story of the era we are living in. It's a known fact that how we treat our animals is a direct reflection of how we treat each other. Vince Tula's writing and directing captured that sentiment very well. Solid performances all around. ...

The show had the audience laughing and crying, which is such a rare balance. It was a revealing look at dogs, humanity, and an exploration of our connection to how we treat animals. I would highly recommend this show!...

The production gave us a glimpse at humans almost as caricatures, but it did so intentionally. Also, while many plays are of course important to those that write them, this one was clearly close to Vince’s heart, you can tell he bled for it....

This was a highlight of my Fringe experience this year. Deftly written, with characters so grounded and real despite two of them being dogs portrayed by actors, this play really surprised me with its comedic edge and dramatic gravitas. I was riveted from beginning to end. This is what it looks like when talented artists take up a real-world cause and make something relevant, impactful and creatively gorgeous. ...

I appreciated the sentiment behind this show. I am a pit bull keeper and lover and it breaks my hear to see them mistreated and discarded in circumstances that can only be classed as 'canine racism'.
Overall, I was glad I chose to see this show....

Pit of Hope is a very well written and well paced show. Steller acting throughout. It balances heart and humor and manages to leaves you contemplating the humanity of its characters in a very inhumane situation....
