Andrew was super engaging as his character-knows how to work a crowd and is just incredibly versatile-singing, doing some REALLY impressive physical comedy bits, strong character work, and some solid emotional acting as well. And my friend got roped into audience participation which is a sure fire way to get a 10/10 from me.
The tech was also super effective though out-especially loved the sound effect work with all the cartoonish physical comedy bits.
What I didn't like
Honestly, I just think I went into this show expecting something different than what I experienced and was really happy about that! I was almost expecting a Joe Rogan/Clavicular parody character, but was instead greeted by a really interesting and original fleshed out character that I wanted to spend more time with! So, I guess just messaging? Truly no notes for show.
My overall impression
Andrew is a tour de force performer-comedic timing, solid crowd work, a really fun concept that surprised me with its depth, AND HE SINGS? What more could you ask for?
