What I liked

All the characters were different, with different goals and backgrounds and each scene was unique.

What I didn't like

I actually wanted more detail about the world we are in; it appears quite rural (no computers, lots of talk of losing farms and livestock) and the actual brutality of beyond the door that characters exit to after they have their photo taken…In Argentina, photos of the ‘disappeared’ are posted everywhere – there are hundreds of them – and it’s a very powerful visual image. Could we have images of the disappeared.?

My overall impression

S-27 is an intriguing, not-so-distant political look on totalitarianism and how it seeps into the behavior and desires of us all. Standouts were Jennifer Lax as the desperate mother and Anne Peyton Brothers as twisted survivor of both duplicity and honesty.
