What I liked

Alex’s object work, characterizations, stage presence, and connection to his audience are awesome! I was laughing throughout the entire duration.I also enjoyed his interrogation of popular portrayals of Japanese culture.

What I didn't like

As someone with a disability, it would have been nice to have received a heads up about the interactive component where we walk around the stage and sit outside of our seat. It felt awkward to walk back to my original seat because I wasn’t sure if we were needed again. Though it may spoil the surprise, including a disclaimer at the beginning or option to opt out would have been supportive and should be included in future shows.

My overall impression

Attended this show with my friend and we had a really enjoyable time! I’ve never been to a clown show before, but if they’re all at this level I’d love to see more.
