I liked the audience participation and the wild shenanigans of having to dress a man baby. The encircling of the audience and bringing them on stage was cool too.
What I didn't like
It wasn’t initially clear to me that this was a clown show. I feel like it would benefit the audience if it’s made clear initially that Audience participation will happen as part of the show. The small bids for interaction were not always clear.
Also as a piece it felt a bit disjointed. The final bit being a letter read out loud to his mom felt unexpected in the sense that it felt like there was no mention or connection back to the rest of the show. I want more of a Chekhov’s Gun.
My overall impression
I came in blind outside of the poster. So I had no expectations. I was left feeling delighted and pleasantly surprised.
