Alex has a wild imagination and takes the audience on a journey through Japanese history that is strange, personal, and absurd. One of the most gloriously slapstick clown shows at Fringe, it fully embraces the spirit of the LA clown scene. There is so much packed into this show that I don't want to spoil any of it. You just have to experience it for yourself.... full review

I'm happy and grateful that this got to be my first show seen during this Fringe season. Alex works with themes of translation, cultural identity, and finding joy and play amidst world-historical pain and loss (and at times amidst personal pain and loss!), all through some engaging, easy-to-play games shared with the audience.... full review
