What I liked

Found myself engaged for every minute. Never looked at the time or wondered when it was going to be over.

Also, I LOVED their creativity making their portrait frames on the cheap with the those kid foam matt side pieces that they painted gold. I noticed it immediately and thought it was very clever. And they looked great, perfectly served the purpose and lent to the farcical nature of the whole thing. I always admire artists creativity, building their world on a budget. The actors were all very strong character actors who understand comedic timing and pacing. Nothing is worse than sitting through a comedy where the actors don’t understand pacing. Not the case here. Bravo!

What I didn't like

Only suggestion would be to maybe give it a little more than 30 minutes. It’s perfect for fringe but I think it would be worthy of extra story to extend into a full play at some point and really fill out the world even more as opposed to a long one act. Not really a complaint. More of a general comment. I’d say it’s definitely worth seeing

My overall impression

I was familiar with this piece having participated in an early reading and that went great but to see the writer’s vision really come to life fully staged was really impactful. You can see the passion this writer has for telling a story. The jokes were very well constructed, the timing of the actors was very on point, the characterizations of every cast member fit perfectly into the world of this show. Nothing felt out of place. Despite being a farce, it was somehow still grounded which is not an easy feat.
