I definitely laughed at a lot of the absurdity in the story. I also enjoyed all of the puppeteer work, especially that of the sisters, the tiger, and the doctor. All of the staging and use of lights helped bring out the puppet work, which was a fun creative element.
What I didn't like
I couldn’t see some of the puppet/actor work because it was either down stage or played lower on the ground. Maybe using more levels like the staircase, or balcony would have helped, but it didn’t take away from performance.
My overall impression
This is definitely the most energy driven, unique and original performance I’ve seen in concept with puppets. The show embraced an unconventional style that was both surprising and engaging.
