What I liked

Cirque Lunaire is quirky, existential, and thoroughly bizarre. The puppet construction is totally charming, as was the circus theme. I cracked up literally every time the Psychotrope entered or exited. There was something so special about his very heavy feet.

What I didn't like

This space was a difficult one to puppeteer in! Because I was a couple rows back, there were a couple moments when I could not see the puppets when they were low to the ground (like the tiger puppet). Some of the smaller puppets were difficult to appreciate from farther back as well.

My overall impression

What a hoot! When I first heard murmurs of a punk circus puppet show, my ears perked up like a dog, and I was not disappointed.
