My overall impression
This is one of the best plays I have seen in the festival and can’t recommend it enough. Aaron White’s performance is heartfelt, honest and entertaining; the honesty in his storytelling bursting out throughout the play. His takes on some of the important issues in the african-american community and its juxtaposition with historical content make this an engaging production. I was invested in this play from beginning to end.
