My overall impression
Had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Deshawn and Jamonté go all-in on spontaneity and the result is exhilarating. I never knew what was going to happen next, and gasped more times than I can count.
The performers are perfectly matched. Their chemistry is undeniable and together, they navigate the chaos with generosity and great comic timing.
Beneath the absurdity are two portraits of identity and the experience of being gay in the military. Those personal stories ground the piece, and give it just the right amount of depth.
