What I liked
I loved the acting here – both the father character and Xander have great chemistry. Really great moments where it was hard to tell if this was actually true life vs a play.
What I didn't like
A few more moments of levity? It was really great to see the moments where that popped up because it made the relationship more complicated and difficult.
My overall impression
A heartbreaking/warming tale! Xander leaves it all out on the stage in a portrayal about how two very different people attempt to bridge the complicated gap of family, love and obligation.
