Cell: A Duologue

What I liked

I love their relationship and the puzzle of trying to figure out the mystery behind what we’re seeing. The writing is really special. I loved the actor’s chemistry with each other, and I love the humor that they brought to the story from their comedy backgrounds.

What I didn't like

I couldn’t help but wonder if there was an alternate idea than Charlie being an alcoholic, especially as a musician. This is a character choice that we’ve seen often in theater and other art forms. Is there a different characterization for him that feels unique and fresh, but still contributes to his and Sadie’s break up?

My overall impression

Lovely, tragic, heartbreaking, smart, funny. Mike and Alyssa are incredibly charismatic and compatible. A winner!!
