What I liked
Alyssa Limperis and Mike Cabellon are a triumph. They leave their hearts of their sleeves and give two truly vulnerable and beautiful performances. I thought the writing was excellent as well. I also really enjoyed the use of the cell phone protection. It was a really unique and effective way to capture the essence of their relationship.
What I didn't like
My only note is that sometimes the text moved a bit fast on the cell phone display and was hard to read while the actors were also speaking. This was extremely minor and not a big problem.
My overall impression
I was floored by Cell: A Duologue. It was beautiful, hilarious, heartbreaking and heart-mending. It is truly a special experience I can’t recommend it enough.
