Nilsa’s story is so beautiful, and handled by a skilled solo performer who never lets the challenges of her life which she’s sharing weigh down the energy of the show. It’s funny, it’s fast, and it keeps you guessing. The tech elements were immensely supportive. I also appreciate the announcement at the top about her brain injury and how it requires she be on script at times. I was honestly fascinated by the dance she created with the two scripts on stage. They had a choreography all their own, and clearly that aspect of the show was thoroughly thought out.
What I didn't like
It’s a beautiful, funny, and tight 30 minutes. No complaints.
My overall impression
Come for the laughs and to get to know more about this beautiful human being, stay for the fuckboi rap.
