A concise, 30-minute play detailing the resilience of leaving a war-torn Vietnam, Vivi Thai does a great job in presenting her deeply personal story, allowing use to feel through by images and documents, personal accounts. Vivid stories and images that remind us of the horrors of war. Important, intimate, and lessons that will stay with us long after the show ends. I know Vivi will continually work on this and I can't wait to see how it will develop.... full review

A fascinating Vietnamese refugee story from the performer Vivi Thai's family that while it leans a bit too hard into the historical presentation aspect for the first half, it is the second half of this 25 minute solo show that reveals the wonderful potential for the full length version to which Vivi Thai wishes to create.... full review
