My overall impression
This show knocked my socks off! I can’t stop thinking about it almost a week later. Vivi is a master storyteller whose words and their order are poetic and powerful – transmuting truths into the depths of my heart. There were so many elements of this show that I loved, but here some that stood out to me… Vivi’s performance and use of physicality and staging to transport the audience to a different time and place, the props and visuals, the education I received, the inventiveness of how she wove everything together. I can’t wait to see the expanded version of this show!
