What I liked
Loved the very personal family artifacts and sound clips that really landed a significant magnitude of realness. ( I love this shit! )
What I didn't like
I can’t wait for more! I’d love to see an extended version of this story. It has inspired me to do more own digging into my family’s escape story.
My overall impression
A moving discovery of her family’s traumatic journey fleeing war-torn Vietnam. Vivi did a great job embodying the characters while painting a very historically educational canvas for us to dive into.
