What I liked
The notes at entry. The BUBBLES. SO SUCCESSFUL. I wanted to blow them because I felt I was supposed to. I did it when I thought it would be funny and also when I thought it would be not appropriate but it always was. I loved the props and costumes. I loved the music. I loved (and hated/ cried to) the phone call from baba. I loved teaching whites how much we think about Abu Abu Abu Abu Abu Abu whoever. I have said the line “Im talking to my descendant. They are gay and they do comedy” 40,000 times since Thursday.

My overall impression
What a fantasticly created piece! Funny and exciting and filled with heart! Not a second was wasted and yet I felt no pressure on the structure of the show. It flowed so freely and that added to the freedom the audience felt. It had so much heart and yet never took itself to seriously. I cried multiple times- especially in moments I least expected to.
