The characterization of the ancestor was soooo incredibly specific and hilarious, from the singing to the loofah-using. I loved the stage picture created by the divider, where you could see Edib transform between self and past. The meta moments were touching. It was really beautiful to hear the voicemail and contextualize the layers of grief in this performance. It was extra impressive that they managed to never pause the laugh machine while doing it.

My overall impression
A riot! Introspective, but incredibly goofy so as to never veer into being self serious. Edib is an incredible physical comedian and was able to roll with the punches so well.
