This show had a dreamy quality that I really enjoyed. Perfect set and lighting. I felt transported into a strange liminal space. Each character represented an uncomfortable aspect of approaching life that gets in the way of authentic experiences.
What I didn't like
The dialogue didn’t always feel natural, though this might have been due to the fact that it was translated from a play written many decades ago, or an intentional choice to make it sound poetic and otherworldly.
My overall impression
Dreamy and dark, an interesting examination of interpersonal relationships and the ways in which we set ourselves up for failure. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
