The show was really well-paced, and I appreciated that it didn’t shy away from how human we continue to be, even in death. A ghost can get the urge to spy on people and be a little creepy, because humans are all a little creepy. I know I would!
What I didn't like
More silly ghostly shenanigans in the extended release.
My overall impression
There’s nothing like seeing two talented performers transform their lifelong friendship into art on stage, supported by the heartwarming and funny storytelling of their equally talented writer Eli.
Even with one of them being a ghost, the trials and tribulations the characters face throughout their relationship feel very alive. This play emphasizes the painfully beautiful truth that while you may move on after the death of someone you love, they will never be forgotten. And that a goodbye can be a hello again in the thereafter, and that’s something worth holding on to.
