What I liked
Oh man- the chemistry of the two actors to create a fully lived in world between basically only their conversation, the way the cup was moving at the beginning of the show(I see you Jose!!), the little details of the set design and the way the scenes flowed so naturally from one to the other.
What I didn't like
The stakes are demonstrated to be high, but I would love to see them hit the characters just a bit more. They are the only two people in the world who can see this relationship for what it is(or what it isn’t), and there is a real opportunity to show how lonely that is I would have loved to have seen.
My overall impression
What a gorgeous gem! Fully lived in characters navigating the essential heartbreaks and joys of life- death, birth and love uniting them all.
