What I liked
It is ambitious in combining so many different genres to tell this story. Interestingly enough, the strongest aspect of the show was the abstract horror-esque dance piece.
What I didn't like
While the dance piece worked, everything else did not or was not quite fully fleshed out.
My overall impression
While most of its elements didn’t quite work out, Aztlan is an ambitious hybrid genre that delves into an essential topic of journalism and the cost of reporting the truth.
