I thought the writing was really sharp and funny. LOVED the cutaways to the trailers for various hilarious fictional (but far too close to the real thing) vertical shows.
Overall, I felt it was well-acted. I really enjoyed the pacing of the writing and performances. It is brutally honest at times, takes unexpected turns, and just when you think the writer is on his soapbox he steps off it and caves to pressure of money and opportunity (so it goes).
What I didn't like
Nothing worth noting.
My overall impression
An insightful and honest portrayal of the world of verticals, how fucked up they are, and how fucked up we all are (as audience and artist) to put up with them (for entertainment or out of desperation).
