What I liked
Everything! Dee puts you right there in it. He’s not afraid to make the audience a little uncomfortable with these very real situations that vertical actors are put through on a daily basis. I really loved the soapbox speeches! It was a fun little gag throughout the whole piece. What I didn't like
I think if anything, starting the show first thing with one of the spoofy verticals we see throughout the show can help ease people who aren’t aware of microdramas into the story a bit more. Other than that, I want to see a short film on this!
My overall impression
A hilarious and brutally honest look at the mistreatment of actors on microdrama sets! Even if you are lucky enough not to know anything about the racism, misogyny, and abusive world of vertical dramas, this show is still a must-see!
