What I liked
The melodramatic style of the actors really fit the tone of verticals. I really liked the use of foreground, background, and sides of the stage for different parts of the story.
What I didn't like
When there are a few places where, instead of staying seated, movement of the characters would have helped on that large stage. Also, volume for some actors could be louder. I was straining to hear certain scenes.
My overall impression
What a funny and deep dive down the Vertical rabbit hole! It was an intimate look into this scene, and since I didn’t know much about verticals, and I’m glad I saw this to learn more about them. I am so fascinated now!
