What I liked

I liked the cassette tapes and the sweating. I liked seeing an artist show himself vulnerably and truly and weirdly. I liked seeing myself reflected even though i am different. I liked being offered sweet treats that made me feel nostalgic for my grandma yaya. Go watch adam being a lynchian nightmare turned morning dove. wake us up from the dream, Adam, its gonna be ok, maybe friendship can be found in a penguin suit. Its worth a try. This show is what you get when a poetic Performance Artist, an absurdist dance choreo instructor, and an awkward yet determined friend walk into a bar.

My overall impression

Party Boy is half experimental artpiece, half whispered poem, half a sweet reflection of how i’ve felt at parties in the past – made into art to help us love ourselves better. I loved seeing how sincerely Adam treats everything in this show while also being a strange vacant absurdist. You know the moments at parties when your friend or you just has to eat some chocolates staring at a wall for a while? I do. And i know adam does too.
