The moment where character Desire boxed a masculine persona in prose, bouncing between lighting to exchange dialogue, was a thought provoking exchange and an excellent way to present the constant tension across the sexes. A conversation we need but don’t have. The mood was kept light despite the weight of the subject, which made the twist ending hit all the more.
What I didn't like
More hints toward the twist could have made it more impactful, but the shock successfully carried the message.
My overall impression
For my first ever one-woman show, the bar has been set very high! Destiny kept us engaged and entertained for a very tight hour. Incredibly pertinent and relatable, the crisis of the millennial has no resolution other than providing for and caring for each other.
