What I liked
Destiny is a fantastic storyteller and knows how to weave the hilarious comedy bits with dramatic gravitas.
What I didn't like
When it strayed from the GRWM social media aspect of unaliving oneself, the pacing and momentum would drop considerably. It was also confusing what Destiny’s character was exactly, a superhero who is tired of saving the world or a Black woman who is tired of the world in general.
My overall impression
An amazing premise that gets distracted a bit here and there but grounded by one hell of a charismatic and engaging storyteller that will otherwise engage audiences thoroughly.
