I loved the transitions between the comedy, the poetry, and narration of Desiree’s thought process. She guided us into her dark thoughts then eased tensions with her comedy in a way that made us feel safe to laugh even when the topic was hard to talk about.
What I didn't like
I think the comedy needed a bit more commitment. It’s not that it wasn’t there at all but sometimes it felt like she wanted to go bigger but held back a bit.
My overall impression
It was a beautiful balance between comedy and and the darker side of mental health!
