I’ve seen multimedia feel disjointed in theatre, but here it felt intentional, cohesive, and added so much to the story. The screen is its own character, capturing what it’s like to scroll through the chaos of the world. The pre-show set the tone up nicely as well.

My overall impression
Deeply relevant, heart-wrenching, and SO SO funny. Desiree moves through a dynamic range of characters and moods. She captivates us with spoken word, feels like a friend on FaceTime, transforms into a parody of social media presences, and lets us into her most intimate, dark thoughts. Each one depicts how impossible it feels to find the right way to cope during the most absurd of times.
